    ARDEX S 48 - Rapid-Set Thin Set Mortar/ Mastic Hybrid

    ARDEX S 48 is a highly flexible tiling adhesive that can be used on both floor and wall in dry and wet environments. ARDEX S 48 is used for setting and laying eg tiles, tiles, granite ceramics, or mosaics. As well as for the set of insulating materials of foam plastic, gluing of plasterboard, on dense and sucking surfaces. Provides very good adhesion to tiles with minimal water absorption. Resistant to moisture in the kitchen, bath and shower room in a residential environment. Can be used on all substrates that are normally used for tiling, eg plasterboard, lightweight concrete, cement putty and concrete older than 1 month. Very suitable for floors with underfloor heating.

Consumables: About 1.0 kg / m² powder at comb size 4x4x4 Approx. 1.3 kg / m² powder at comb size 6x6x6 Approx. 1.7 kg / m² powder at comb size 8x8x8 Working time: Approximately 1 hour at 20 ° C. Bedtime: About 20 minutes at 20 ° C. Bonding (floor): After about 5 hours at 20 ° C. Bonding (wall): After about 3 hours at 20 ° C.
