Fire curtains EI120 with fusible lock

GSF KPR fire-rated roller shutter by Global System is intended for closing off opening in vertical partitions, both internal and external. The main purpose of the shutter is to limit the spread of fire and the flow of gases and heat for 120 minutes. Shutters separate fire zones in buildings and enable safe evacuation. They can be applied in public facilities and in other types of buildings. GSF KPR EI shutter by Global System is equipped with a fusible link, which shall release the shutter when the temperature reaches around 74°C.

    FIRE CURTAIN COMPONENTS

    GSF KPR fire curtains consist of:

    • flexible curtain coat
    • system of guide rails
    • curtain housing box
    • bottom bar
    • fusible lock

    In a fire curtain with a fusible lock, when a fire occurs and the temperature reaches about 74°C, the fusible lock melts, causing the door to close by gravity.
