VOLANO UP 4 CONNECTIONS

The Cordivari Volano UP 4 Connections is a wall-mounted thermal buffer tank designed for heat pump systems. It functions as both a hydraulic separator and a thermal accumulator, enhancing system efficiency by reducing compressor cycling and stabilizing flow rates. Constructed from mild steel or AISI 304 stainless steel, it features high thermal insulation with rigid polyurethane foam and is suitable for indoor installations. The tank is available in models with grey PVC external lining or an anticorrosive-treated metal sheet for outdoor use. It comes with a 2-year warranty, ensuring reliable performance.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
Buffers either for hot or cold water have two main functions: they work both as hydraulic separator and buffer tank.
The hydraulic separator makes the heat pump flow rates and terminals flow rates unconnected. The buffer function reduces the heat pump on/off switchings.
Hanging energy buffer tanks are designed for wall installation.
MATERIAL:
– VOLANO UP GBF: Mild steel
– VOLANO UP XBF: Stainless steel AISI 304
– VOLANO UP GBL: Mild steel
EXTERNAL LINING:
– Grey PVC (for indoor installation).
– External coating in metal sheet protected by a particular anticorrosive treatment (available for CLASS A models – suitable for outdoor installation).
INSULATION:
High thermal insulation with ecological polyurethane hard foam.
