Gerpex Multi-Layer Insulated

Gerpex multilayer insulated piping systems for water supply, heating, cooling, refrigerating and air compressed
Manufactured and certifed by leading international bodies in compliance with UNI EN ISO 21003, according to the classes of use 2 and 5 for the transport of fuids at a maximum pressure of 10 bar and peak temperatures of 95°C.

The Gerpex multilayer consists of 6 layers:
- Cross-linked polyethylene inner pipe (PE-Xb)
- Bonding layer connecting the inner pipe to aluminium pipe
- Butt-welder aluminium pipe, thickness min 0,3 mm
- Bonding layer connecting the outer pipe to aluminium pipe
- Cross-linked polyethylene inner pipe (PE-Xb), dimension 16-32
- Closed- cell expanted plyethylene, coveres with a film in extruded LD-PD (insulating sheath)

- Classes of application (UNI ISO 21003): 2/10 bar, 5/10 bar
- Maximum operating temperature: 95°C

- Coefficient of linear expansion: 0,026 mm/m °C
- Therminal conductivity: 0.45 W/m °C
- Fire reaction class: EL (EN 13501-1)

Technical data of insulating sheath:
- Material: closed- cell expanted plyethylene, coveres with a film in extruded LD-PD
- Therminal conductivity: ≤ 0.040 W/mK (UNI EN ISO 8497)
- Fire reaction class: CL-S1-d0-d2 (EN 13501-1)
- Thickness of covering: compliant with attachment B- TAB 1 of President Decree 412/93
